RAMP TO RAMP MOTORCYCLE JUMPING WORLD RECORDS

RAMP TO RAMP.

a. RAMP GAP. Current 500cc record holder: Doug Danger, 220 ft., around June 27th, 1991. This was to re-do the world record attempt that was improperly measured on June 22, 1991 for the television series Stuntmasters. No cars were in the gap on this world record, but evidence shows that the gap was the same as it had been with 38 cars between the ramps and that he did fly farther and for a longer time than the shorter jump on June 22.

Current 85cc record holder: Tyrone Gilks, 110 feet, 7-29-2006, on a Suzuki RM85 big wheel in Butte, MT at Knievel Days. 12 years old.

b. TOTAL JUMP DISTANCE. Current record holder: Doug Danger, 248 ft., around June 27th, 1991.

Current 85cc record holder: Tyrone Gilks, 169 feet, 6 inches, 7-29-2006, on a Suzuki RM85 big wheel in Butte, MT at Knievel Days. 12 years old.

Riding double: Jason Rennie and Sian Phillips, 96 feet, November 12, 2000.

CLEAR GAP. TBD.

Current 85cc record holder: Tyrone Gilks, 75 feet, 7-29-2006, on a Suzuki RM85 big wheel in Butte, MT at Knievel Days. 12 years old.
