MOTORCYCLE JUMPING OVER BUSES WORLD RECORDS

BUSES. Standard buses are not less than 7 feet wide. Length varies. Homologation rule applies - model of buses should be universally available throughout the USA or Europe.

    a. SIDE BY SIDE. This record is for the greatest number of buses (parked side by side) jumped by a motorcycle. The jumper must clear all the buses.

        (1) STANDARD BUSES.

Current record holder: Chris Bromham, 20 buses.

        (2) DOUBLE DECKERS.

Current record holder: Chris Bromham, 18 double deckers.

    b. LENGTHWISE. This record is for the greatest number of buses parked end to end and jumped by a motorcycle. The jumper must clear all the buses.                

        (1) STANDARD BUSES.

Current record holder: Doug Danger, 3 buses end to end, May 25, 2002 at Thompson Motor Speedway in Thompson, Connecticut. There were two "full size" buses and one "3/4 size" bus with a 101 foot ramp gap and a 111 foot total jump distance.

        (2) DOUBLE DECKERS.
